Hi – Welcome to my website, where you can track my publications and contact me about teaching or speaking, and to my blog, where I write about finding a spiritual path, whether you believe in God or not.

I have long been interested in spirituality, but really found myself in need of God – of something! – in 2004, when I was bottoming out on drugs and alcohol.

I just couldn’t live like that anymore.

There had to be another way.

Through trial and error, and with a lot of help, I found that there was a voice I could trust inside me. We all can connect with a God personal to us, whether we’ve grown up “religious” or not, whether we’re looking inside a church or out. Nothing is required except an open mind.

I send out weekly blog posts via email, describing ways we can connect with God in the midst of the mess of our lives.

Please subscribe above.

You can contact me directly at Melissa@melissajoanwalker.com or connect with me via facebook or twitter.

Your own higher power is a voice that can be trusted. Let’s find it together.
